His life was saved thanks to the fact that his elementary school decided to have a defibrillator at their facilities. The decision by Casa Linda Elementary to have an AED on hand is becoming more typical across the country as the benefits of a defibrillator outweigh the costs involved. Kudos to Casa Linda Elementary and congratulations to Emiliano Vela and his vamily.
