Cardiac Science offers (3) models of defibrillators based on their Powerheart AED G3 line. All units feature a patented Rescue Ready technology that self-tests all main components. Cardiac Science Powerheard series include over 80 patents are are among the most technologically advanced and easiest to use.
Cardiac Science has been at the forefront of cardiac equipment development and services since 1991. In 2002, Cardiac Science acquired the company Survivalink, and consolidated all AED production under the Powerheart Brand. Cardiac Science also includes the former leading companies in their respective fields: Quinton (cardiac stress testing) and Burdick (considered the preferred electrocardiograph (ECG) technology brand by clinicians).

Cardiac Science’s standard unit, the AED G3 is available as either a fully Automatic AED or a Semi-Automatic AED. The only different between the two units is whether or not you want auto-shock or push of the button shock. The fully automatic AED will administer a defibrillating shock (when needed) with no interaction from the user (i.e., no shock button to press) .
